Who we need at BidClerk?
As a Customer Service Representative you will interact with customers to provide and process information in response to their inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services, as well as explain how to use account features.
What will you do?
- Professionally respond to incoming requests, inquiries, and complaints made via phone, email and live chat in a prompt and thorough manner
- Notify the reporting staff of project information obtained through incoming calls, emails or live chat
- Convey timely feedback to management regarding product malfunctions and customer concerns
- Troubleshoot customer issues with system usability
- Attract potential customers by answering product and service inquiries
- Sell or upgrade accounts; attempt to persuade customers to reconsider cancellation
- Work with management to ensure the highest level of customer service is being delivered
- Gather and analyze customer information to fulfill customer needs and educate the customer on how to use account features
- Maintain customer accounts by updating and processing financial records
- Provide detailed documentation of customer interactions, including but not limited to, questions, comments, concerns, and feedback.
What skills and experience do you need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Associates with 1-year of Customer Service experience
- Time Management: the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively work independently as well as part of a team
- Sense of urgency to calmly and efficiently respond to customer needs and ensure resolution
- Strong understanding of the product and a focus on quality
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency working with relevant computer applications; the ability to learn custom software
- Adaptability
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the working day
- Needs to occasionally move about the office to communicate with staff and attend meetings
- Constantly operates a computer
- Frequently communicates verbally with peers and management
- Must be able to analyze detail close-up
