What do we need at iSqFt?
The Mid-Market Business Development Representative makes outbound phone calls to targeted prospects, generates interest in the iSqFt Mid-Market products, and schedules & confirms demonstration appointments for the Sales Consultants, Mid-Market Sales. The Mid-Market Business Development Representative works in collaboration with the team members to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
What will you do?
- Deliver a value proposition and document all activity, calls and results in Salesforce.com
- Set qualified appointments for the Sales Consultant, Mid-Market Sales and enter information in Salesforce.com
- Cold calling from lists provided, targeted accounts, follow up to outbound marketing campaigns and responses to campaigns, and work independently to seek out prospects best suited to meet the Team objective
- Participate in ongoing training as it relates to iSqFt products, services and sales training opportunities
What skills and experience do you need to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associates degree + 1 years cold calling, telemarketing or appointment setting experience OR HS Diploma + 3 years cold calling or business development experience in a corporate sales environment preferably software sales.
- Experience within the construction industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills
- An understanding of how businesses are organized and operated
- Salesforce.com experience desired but not required, Microsoft 2007/2010
- Excellent communication skills
- Quick at understanding how the Mid-Market product improves the efficiency of preconstruction workflows
- Enjoys working within a team environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the working day
- Needs to occasionally move about the office to communicate with staff and attend meetings
- Constantly operates a computer
- Frequently communicates verbally with peers and management
- Must be able to analyze detail close-up
