Position Overview: Content Marketing Specialist
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for conveying a wide range of ideas in a simple, clear, and even entertaining way, both inside and outside the Company. This position serves the strategy and needs of the Marketing Department. He/She will work with the Marketing Team to create content that works. This person will be directly involved in projects, from ideation to completion, and will be accountable for results achieved.
The primary focus will be on the Marketing side of the business, with an emphasis on content that positively impacts the customer, brand, and sales and retention efforts. The pursuit of this larger goal will lead to being called upon to support other areas, as priorities and business needs allow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with Marketing Team to drive sales by writing effective marketing content across website, email, iSqFt’s software, sales support material, and other advertising as needed.
- Work with Marketing Team to drive sales and retention by developing value-add content including blogs, webinars, eBooks, infographics, trade show materials, etc.
- Gather, often via interviews, and develop customer success stories, testimonials, side-by-sides, and iSqFt application user tips.
- Own the process of gathering and creating content for iSqFt’s newsletter and see it to completion.
- Remain connected with performance indicators such as email open rates and click-through rates; website, including Google Analytics; and social media metrics.
- Own and enhance all PR and social media efforts (including metrics), currently defined as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, and the iSqFt Community.
- Perform search engine optimization techniques in WordPress.
- Revise, edit, and proofread content, checking for clarity, efficacy, spelling and grammar.
- Respond to feedback in a timely manner.
- Develop internal announcements that produce desired results.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or other related field, or equivalent pertinent experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar position.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Internet research techniques required.
- Proficiency with audio-video software and WordPress is a plus.
